Who is REM?
REM is a brand of Fortitudo Diamonds, an innovative start-up in the luxury sector, which has combined its enthusiasm for new technologies with the aim of innovating a sector with the centuries-old history of jewellery.
The concept
JEWELLERY COMES TO LIFE WITH THE REM™ APP
me✦te✦ora® jewellery is very special because inside it beats a real technological heart that brings them to life and allows them to be personalised in a totally unique and extraordinary way.
In a few simple steps, you can “crystallise” the most emotional moments (audio dedications, images, video messages) and display them via the application.
It is possible to change the multimedia content of the jewelry whenever desired through the application.
Whoever gives a me✦te✦ora® jewel gives a moment to live again. The lucky recipient simply needs to hold their smartphone close to their new me✦te✦ora® jewelry to reveal its secret content.
The technology used for inserting and reading multimedia content is NFC, inserted inside the jewelry.
How does it work?
The customer who purchases the jewelry records a special multimedia content to be kept inside. To do this, they will need to download the REM JEWEL app, and the precious content will be crystallized inside the jewelry and can be viewed anytime simply by bringing the jewelry close to their smartphone.
Flutter development
We have opted for the development of a cross-platform app using the Flutter framework to meet the client’s needs for a high-performing app in a short amount of time.
Conclusions
The technological soul allows the jewel to evolve and move from a static to a dynamic plane.
The jewel is able to interact with the smartphone without needing to be charged.
Thanks to technology, the goldsmith’s tradition is enhanced.
