Avvocati Associati Franzosi Dal Negro Setti is a renowned Milan-based law firm founded in 1963. In May 2020, they chose us to redesign their website and refresh their brand identity.
The objectives were clear: to modernize the online presence, strengthen brand perception, and support the growth of the customer base through more up-to-date and consistent communication.
To achieve these goals, we updated the logo and corporate identity without compromising the brand’s essence, and we developed a comprehensive, modern website that meets the law firm’s needs, making it easy for staff to manage and ensuring a high-quality user experience.
Restiling brand image
The work on the visual identity began with a redesign of the logo: we modernized and streamlined the design while preserving the recognizability of this historic Milanese brand.
We then redesigned the business cards, letterhead, and all of the firm’s document templates in a consistent and harmonious manner, establishing a uniform visual identity across all materials.
The business cards were designed for each professional in all the colors of the palette (red, white, and black) and feature a QR code on the back that links to the corresponding digital business card.
To complete the project, we developed a responsive and fully customized website, translating the client’s ideas into a modern and elegant experience that is optimized for browsing and technically robust.
UX/UI Design
We conducted a preliminary analysis to study the firm’s competitors, identify the latest UX/UI trends, and define the needs of the target users. Once this phase was complete, we moved on to gathering inspirational content and defining the navigation flows.
Based on our research and the features requested by the client, we created a wireframe (digital prototype) of the new website and, subsequently, mock-ups for various devices to present to the client. Once we received approval, we developed an interactive, navigable web prototype to begin testing, verify its proper functioning, and gauge user satisfaction.

Custom Loaders
Two custom loading screens were created for the website to make the browsing experience even more engaging and consistent with the visual identity. The first, which appears only on the user’s first visit, shows the letter “A” from the logo being formed. The second, which is simpler and faster, more directly echoes the logo, which consists of a double “A.”
Website Development
The 100% custom website was developed using HTML5 to ensure that every detail of the custom design—meticulously crafted for the project—was faithfully implemented.
It is available in two themes (light and dark), in five languages, and is fully responsive. To support this, a backend has been implemented that allows staff to manage the site independently: creating new pages, publishing articles, and updating news.
The purpose of the architecture is to provide a comprehensive, customized solution that simplifies website and information management, enhances the user experience, and contributes to the firm’s growth. Thanks to its well-designed technical foundation and the use of cutting-edge technologies, the solution ensures high performance, flexibility, and scalability, adapting to the firm’s ever-changing needs.
The architecture is based on four main components: front-end, Web API REST, admin panel, and database.
DEVELOPMENT SPECIFICATIONS
Front-end: The front-end is the website’s user interface—that is, what users see and interact with. It was developed using the .NET 5 framework in C#, with the goal of creating a modern, responsive, and user-friendly interface for end users.
Web API Rest: These APIs act as intermediaries between the front end and the database, enabling the website to communicate with the database and manage the project’s various features. The Web APIs were developed using .NET 5 and C# and follow a microservices architecture, with an API Gateway that handles load balancing and the proper routing of requests.
Admin Panel: The admin panel is a management interface designed for the law firm’s staff. Built using the Angular 12 framework, it allows staff to independently update and manage the website’s content and settings, thereby simplifying information management and maintenance.
Database: The MSSQL Server database is at the heart of the architecture, as it stores and manages all data related to the law firm, such as offices, professionals, areas of expertise, articles, and consultation bookings. The relational database was designed to handle the firm’s specific needs, taking into account the various offices, languages, and professionals involved.
Results
This project gave us the opportunity to tackle a rich and multifaceted challenge, ranging from the development of a fully customized, multilingual website optimized for all devices, to a comprehensive brand identity that is modern and dynamic while also conveying the firm’s values and history.
We are proud of the work we have done and of the synergy with which all these elements interact, creating a cohesive whole that is both functional and highly effective for our client.
